Maurice and Carol Parkins are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
Maurice Parkins and Carol Schmitz were united in marriage on Oct. 15, 1957, after which they started farming in Beetown.
They have six children, Kate, Don, Theresa, Annette, Dave and Jerry. They also have 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Congratulations Maurice and Carol.
They will be celebrating at a family dinner with their children.
