Shawn Beyer and Ashley Berning-Beyer, Galena, Ill., announce the birth of their daughter, Emery Elizabeth Berning-Beyer, at 12:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Emery weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19 inches long. She joins a sister, Brinley, 4.
Grandparents are Ron and Janine Berning, Galena, and Russell and Linda Beyer, Elizabeth, Ill.
Great-grandmother is Joan Berning, Galena.

A daughter, Emery Jean Kenefick, was born at 1:38 a.m. on May 26, 2024, at The Richland Hospital to Austin and Whitney Kenefick. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. She joins a sister, Harper, 3 years old. Grandparents are Mary and Todd Kenefick of Richland Center, Jeanna and Jerry Jones of Soldiers Grove, Cliff Copus and Mayann Merriman of Mount Zion. Great-grandparent is Dona Kenefick of Sun Prairie. The father is a grinder at Scot Industries and the mother is health unit clerk at Richland Hospital.
