The Lafayette County Junior Holstein Association welcomed the first area baby born during June Dairy Month. Avery Marie Burress was born at Southwest Health Center in Platteville June 10, 22 inches tall and weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces. Avery and her parents, Justin and Jordan, got a package of dairy-themed gifts.
