Kalan Beckett Straka was born on Oct. 19, 2016, the son of Anthony and Jamie Straka at the Richland Hospital, Richland Center. He weighed eight pounds, three ounces and was 22 inches long.

Local grandparents are Dan and Kathy Hasburgh, Muscoda, Aaron and Melanie Straka, Wauzeka; Great-grandparents are Phyllis Fish, Boscobel, John Hasburgh, Highland, Paul and Jean Straka, Wauzeka, Betty McDermitt, Canada. He joins big sister, Braizlei and big brother, Koen at home.
