Thomas and Allison Leitzinger of Belmont are the parents of a son, Briggs Thomas, born Aug. 12, 2011, at Upland Hills Health, Dodgeville. He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Briggs joins a sister, Jaelyn, 2. Grandparents are Steve and Andrea Staver, Clark and Diane Scott and Robert and Jane Leitzinger, all of Shullsburg. Great grandparents are Roger and Marilyn Svoboda of Cuba City, Charlene and the late Elmer Scott of Shullsburg and Eilene and the late Francis (Red) Leitzinger of Shullsburg.
