German Vasquez and Carolina Martinez Calero, Platteville, announce the birth of their son, Mateo Vasquez, at 2:44 p.m. on Thursday, April 3 at Southwest Health Center.
Mateo weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 inches long. He joins a sister, Paola Vasquez.
Grandparents are Alba Calero and Denis Martinez, both of Nicaragua, and Santos and Gregoria Vasquez, El Salvador.
