Dean Hartley, Eastman and Denise Geiwitz, Houston, Minn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Randi Marie Hartley to Kyle Edward Hines, son of Gary and Lori Hines, Gays Mills. The bride-elect is the paternal granddaughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette Hartley and step-granddaughter of Joan Hartley, Seneca. She is the maternal granddaughter of Phyllis Foley and the late Patrick Foley, Seneca. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. She is a Chiropractor in Eagan, Minn. The groom-elect is the paternal grandson of the late Ed and Lavonne Hines, Gays Mills. He is the maternal grandson of Margaret (Dremsa) Pettera, Boscobel, the late Fred Dremsa and step-grandson of the late Matt Pettera. Kyle attended Viterbo University where he played on the basketball team and graduated with a Bachelor of Education and later attended Southwest Technical College for a degree in Electrical Power Distribution. He works as a lineman for the City of North St. Paul, Minnesota. The couple reside in Woodbury, Minn. The wedding is planned for May 29, 2016 in Hastings, Minn.
