Summer is a special time of year for many reasons, one of which is the opportunity to reconnect with old friends. On July 26, eight former students and one teacher — along with two parents, one brother, three spouses and two daughters — attended the annual West Mound School all-class reunion at The Sports Page in Belmont. The oldest graduate attended West Mound School during the 1930s; the youngest attended during the early 1960s, shortly before the school closed.
