Lisa Ann Evert, Marshall Minn., and Michael Robert Edgette, Platteville, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at St. Mary’s Church in Sioux Falls, S.D. Father David Krogman officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Roger and Joyce Evert, Marshall. Parents of the groom are Mark and Dianne Edgette, Platteville.
The bride wore a lace wedding dress with a strapless neckline decorated with delicate white feathers and lace appliqués. The bodice featured a soft draping, which met in the middle with a gemstone brooch. Lace followed the mermaid cut of the dress and the start of the skirt, which ended in a long, lace train. The bride wore a short, sheer cape embellished with pearls and sequins. She wore her sister’s mid-length wedding veil, which was rimmed with lace. She carried her mother’s wedding bouquet, which was made of silk flowers and lace, embellished with brooches and ribbons.
Matron of honor was Christie Benz, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brianna Zwaschka, sister of the bride, Alyssa Ritter, Brittany Pranger, Alex McLeod and Chelsea Caron, all friends of the couple, and Crystal Curry, sister of the groom.
Personal attendant was Stephanie Edgette, sister-in-law of the groom. Flower girl was Alaina Curry, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Jaxton Benz, nephew of the bride.
Best man was Daniel Edgette, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Upton, Nate Caywood, Chas Featherston, Danny Schriver and Jake Wheeler, all friends of the couple, and Nathan Curry, brother-in-law of the groom.
Ushers were Jesse Brown, Matt Buckingham and Adam Vanlten, all friends of the couple.
The wedding reception was at Icon Lounge and Event Hall in Sioux Falls, with dinner followed by wedding dance. The destination of wedding trip was Hawaii, where the couple spent time on the islands of Kauai and O’ahu.
Lisa is a case manager for North American Life Insurance Company. Michael is a media buyer for Henkin-Shultz, Inc. The couple will reside in Sioux Falls.
