Melissa Hubbard and Benjamin DeWitt, Janesville, were united in marriage on June 3, 2017. John D. Emmart officiated the wedding ceremony at 3:30 p.m. at the Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva. The reception was held aboard the Grand Belle of Geneva.
Parents of the bride are Doug and Judy Hubbard, Platteville. Parents of the groom are Jeff and Deb DeWitt, Janesville.
Matron of honor was Bethany Crowell, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lauren Mayne, Ashley Tritz, Melissa Hernandez, Amber Glass, Teresa Sommerfeld and Stephanie Edgette, all friends of the bride, and Bri Helbing, sister of the groom. Personal Attendant was Janon Khilji, friend of the bride.
Best man was Jason Helgeson, friend of the groom. Honorary groomsman was Brian Hubbard, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Dustin Frohne, Jason Bennett, Andy Jegerlehner and Matt Loertscher, all friends of the groom, Matt Bjornstad, cousin of the groom, and Mike Helbing, brother-in-law of the groom.
Miniature groom was Brandt DeWitt, son of the couple.
Melissa graduated from Platteville High School in 2002. She graduated from UW–Platteville in 2007 with a degree in business administration. Melissa is employed by the Rock County Health Department as a public health support specialist in Janesville.
Benjamin graduated from Parker High School in Janesville in 1997. He graduated from UW–Whitewater in 2002 with a degree in business administration. Benjamin is a sales executive for Fidelity National Title in Madison.
