Three blood drives are scheduled in the area in the next month.

A blood drive will be held at the Mound City Bank Motor Branch, 25 E. Pine St., Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center will hold a blood drive at the Dickeyville Community Center, 500 East Ave., Saturday, Aug. 18 from 7 to 11 a.m.

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at Belmont Grade School, 546 Liberty Road, Friday, Aug. 24 from noon to 5:30 p.m.

Donors must be at least 17 and weigh 110 pounds. Eligible donors can give blood every 56 days.
