The Platteville Police Department will hold its fifth annual community picnic at Valley View Park Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Police Sgt. Josh Grabandt said the picnic “is designed to bring the community around the UW–Platteville campus together and provide an opportunity for neighbors to meet each other in a relaxed environment.”

Members of the Platteville Police Department will host the event and provide information to those in attendance about being a good neighbor, local ordinances, and information on parking regulations. Free hot dogs and soda will be provided.
