The 51st annual Vernon County American Legion Youth Government Day will be held Nov. 4.

High school students from Hillsboro, Brookwood, La Farge, Viroqua and Westby have been invited to participate.

Circuit Court Judge Michael Rosborough will assist the Vernon County Legion. Students will view circuit court proceedings starting at 9 a.m., with lunch served at 11:30 a.m. at the Viroqua Legion.
Guest speakers at the luncheon this year include Rosborough, Vernon County Sheriff John Spears, and District Attorny Timothy Gaskell. These county officials will talk briefly about their duties.

Coordinator for the Legion is Gary Gilbertson of Coon Valley Legion Post 116.
