A Rio woman was injured Aug. 10 in a motorcycle crash in Clinton township.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Jeanne Langsdorf, 56, was driving her motorcycle northbound on Co. Road P south of Dell Road.  She lost control while negotiating a curve to the left.  The motorcycle slid off the right side of the roadway and struck the ditch.

Langsdorf sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua by La Farge Ambulance.  She was not wearing a helmet.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were the Kickapoo Valley Reserve Police Department, Lafarge Ambulance and Lafarge Fire Department.

The accident remains under investigation.
