A couple who live just west of Yuba spotted this juvenile black bear demolishing their bird feeders to get at the seed. He made repeat visits over several days, but this couple has put their bird (and bear) feeding on hold for the time being. For obvious reasons the couple has dubbed this bear “Bow Tie.” A message was left with the area DNR representative, who was out of the area the day these photos were sent to the Observer.
