The Shullsburg Elementary School staff organized a Polar Express holiday party for students that included a train track that went from the far end of the elementary hallway to the gym, a number of tunnels to travel under, a life size conductor and train tickets to punch.  
    On Thursday afternoon, Jan. 2 the students wore pajamas and brought sleeping bags and pillows to watch the Polar Express movie in the gym at the school. The students ate popcorn and drank bottled «melted snowmen.»  Everyone enjoyed the journey to the North Pole on the Polar Express.
