A 17-year-old Viola girl and a minor passenger in her vehicle were injured in a single-vehicle crash April 29  in Viroqua township.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, Paige Nelson was driving on East Smith Rd. at 7:27 a.m.  when the crash occurred.

Both Nelson and her passenger were wearing seatbelts. They were taken by Tri-State Ambulance to Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua with minor injuries.

The Viroqua Fire Department assisted at the scene.
