Aaron R. Taylor, age 34, of Lancaster, was freed from his pain on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born on March 4, 1979, in Lancaster, the son of Richard and Sandra (Landon) Taylor. 
Funeral services were held on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Lancaster with Reverend Barbara Cook officiating.  Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster.  Family and friends called on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lancaster United Methodist Church and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.  Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster is assisting the family.
