Barbara A. Meloy, 88, Sun Prairie, formerly of Platteville, died Thursday, April 27 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Father John Blewett and Deacon Bill Bussan concelebrated. Visitation was from 4–6 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. There was be a rosary at 3:30 p.m. Visitation continued on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville, where the family will designate them to a special project in their mom’s memory.
