Beatrice A. “Bea” Peterson, 84, of Ferryville, WI, passed away Sunday, January 5, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse with her family by her side.  She was born on September 6, 1940 in Vernon County to Jerald L. and Irene M. (Erickson) Runice.  On April 26, 1958, she was united in marriage to James D. Peterson. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Popp Funeral and Cremation Services in Viroqua.  A private family burial will be in the Ferryville Cemetery, Ferryville.  Visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Popp Funeral and Cremation Services in Viroqua is entrusted with her services.
