Betty J. Baker, 81, of Platteville died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at her home. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Rev. Faustino Ruiz officiated. Burial will be at Whig Cemetery. Friends called from 4–7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. A parish scripture wake service was held at 3:45 p.m. Friends also call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Betty J.
