Charles "Chuck" L. Stross, Jr., 72, Blue River, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Bland Bekkedal Center for Hospice Care in Viroqua.

He was born on January 17, 1942 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Charles and Margaret (Carroll) Stross, Sr. He married Marsha Grebas on May 5, 1962 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Chicago.

A memorial mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Bland Bekkedal Center for Hospice Care in Viroqua.
