Daniel Kopp, of DeWitt, Iowa,. passed away on Sept. 3 after courageously battling Alzheimer’s for a number of years. His loving and faithful wife, Charlene (Carpenter), was steadfastly by his side as she helped him carry his cross.

Visitation was at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in DeWitt, Iowa, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.  The Funeral Services followed at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Stephen Page officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to St. Joseph’s Catholic School, to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, or directly to the family to establish a memorial at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
