David Norvin Mikkelson, age 75, of Ferryville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 25, 2023. He was born on November 7, 1948, to the late Norvin and Lila (Holmes) Mikkelson in Prairie du Chien. David graduated from North Crawford High School in 1967. After graduating, David farmed with his parents on the family farms on South Buck Creek Road. David retired from farming and went to work for Prairie Industries in Prairie du Chien and Lansing, IA, Cabela’s, and currently was working for BAPI in Gays Mills.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church Cemetery Association or the Ferryville First Responders.

A funeral service was held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church. A visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
