David Peterson, 67 of Wiota, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington. He was born Aug. 28, 1945 in Monroe, the son of LeRoy and Grace (Field) Peterson, Sr. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Wiota Lutheran Church, 6682 Hwy. 78, South Wayne, with Rev. Luke S. Smetters officiating. A visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 20, from 4-8 p.m. at the church. Full obituary in the September 27, 2012 issue of the Republican Journal.
