Earl Baker, 86, Gays Mills and formerly of Viroqua, died suddenly in his home and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2015.

He was born in Bellflower, Ill., to Roger and Mary (Parke) Baker on November 28, 1928.  He served in the U.S. Army in West Germany after World War II. 

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Pastor Noel Mayes officiated. Burial was in the Viroqua Cemetery.  Military Rites were  provided by Running-Johnson-Ray VFW Post No. 3032, Jacobson-Olson American Legion Post No. 138, and the U.S. Army Honors Team.
