Gary LaVerne Everson, age 77, passed away at his home in Soldiers Grove on April 15, 2023. He was born December 30, 1945, at his home on the farm in Soldiers Grove to Lawrence and Olga (Olson) Everson. He was a lifetime member of Kickapoo United Lutheran Church, where he was baptized, confirmed, and attended services regularly. He graduated from Soldiers Grove High School in 1964, and spent over 40 years farming on the family farm.

Memorials may be made to the Kickapoo United Lutheran Church or North Kickapoo Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, at Kickapoo United Lutheran Church rural Soldiers Grove. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
