Helen Elaine (Whitaker) Stoffregen (preferred name “Elaine”), 81, of Platteville, passed away at the Silverado Memory Care facility in Glendale, on Sept. 12, 2023 from dementia related complications following a fall and hip fracture/surgery.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Free Methodist Church, Platteville. Rev. Jeff Suits will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Thursday. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.
