James J. “Jim” Vondrum, 74, Arthur, formerly of Lancaster, died on Tuesday, April 4 at his home.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville.  Rev. Mike Short officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, where military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42. Visitation was from 4–8 p.m. Monday, April 10 at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
