James W. “Jim” Kuhn, 86, of Platteville died on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Manor Care Health Services, Platteville, after a three year battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Celebrant will be Tom Sigwarth. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship and lunch at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, at a later date.  Chapel military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274.  Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Memorials may be made to the James W.
