John H. Batchelor, Jr., 59, Arena, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Ill., following a short illness.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home, 104 Fremont St., Boscobel, with Rev. Gary Young officiating and inurnment at the Boscobel Cemetery. A lunch will follow at the V.F.W.
