John L. “Jack” Fortney, 82, of Big Patch died on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Funeral services were 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 24 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Chapel military rites were accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274. Private family burial was at Big Patch Cemetery. Friends called from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory,Platteville.
