LANCASTER—John Russell Rader, age 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Memorial services were held on Friday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Lancaster Congregational Church with Rev. Mark Dieter officiating. Private family burial with military honors was held in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services assisted the family.
