RIDGELAND—Joseph Mitchell Schurman, Jr., age 65, of Ridgeland, and formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm, the result of a brave struggle against cancer. 

A celebration of Joe’s life was held on Sunday, Jan. 4, at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas, from 3 to 5 p.m.  A memorial service followed with family friend, Msgr. James Dillenburg, officiating. Arrangements were with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas and Cameron.
