Joseph Shepherd, age 70, of Shullsburg, passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. He was born July 30, 1944 in Leadmine, the son of Kenneth and Olivene (Harris) Shepherd.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 226 West Church Street in Shullsburg with Rev. Jeffrey A. Meyer officiating. Military rites will be accorded by the McCann-Richards American Legion Post #105 of Shullsburg. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg at a later date. A visitation was held Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at O’Flahrity-Erickson Funeral Home, 235 North Judgement Street in Shullsburg.
