Keith Whitcher Taber, 39, passed away in Los Angeles, Calif., following a two year struggle with cancer. He was the youngest son of Tom and Bev (Whitcher) Taber of Platteville. He is survived by brothers, John (Kelly) and Paul (Lindsay); maternal grandmother Fern Whitcher; many caring aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
 Friends may call on Saturday, June 30, from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where private family services were held. Burial will be at Lima Union Cemetery at a later date. Per request of the family, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Keith Taber Memorial Fund.
