LANCASTER – Lloyd John Runde, age 90, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, at University Hospital in Madison.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster with Father Mark Miller officiating.  Burial will be held at St. Mary Calvary Cemetery in Platteville.  Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.  In lieu of plants and flowers, donations may be made to the Grant County Cancer Coalition or to the Southwest Opportunities Center.  The family is being assisted by Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster.
