Lorraine Oberli

Lorraine Marie (Heiser) Oberli was born on November 16, 1922 in Plain, to George and Catherine Heiser, and was one of five children.

Her early years were spent at Plain where she attended grade and high school at St. Lukes.

After graduation from high school, she worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Mary’s Hospital and later worked as a telephone operator at the Madison Telephone Company. She was also employed at Ray O Vac and Oscar Mayers in Madison.

Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Winsted, Minn.

Burial was at the Spirit-Hillcrest Cemetery in Spirit Township.

Phyllis Armbruster, 88, of Muscoda, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at her home.  A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 3 p.m. at the Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda, 710 N Wisconsin Ave, Muscoda.  Visitation was held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. The family suggests memorials in Phyllis’s name be directed to Agrace Hospice Care or St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Richland Center. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
