Marlene L. (Malloy) Metcalfe, died on Oct. 11, 2023, in New Market, Connecticut.

She was born in Gays Mills on Oct. 17, 1936. She attended school in Gays Mills and was a straight-A student, a cheerleader, and a band majorette.

After graduation, she went to UW-Madison. She then became an airline stewardess for the American Airlines.

She married Vincent Trost. He preceded her in death. She later married A. Metcalfe.

She is survived by her three children, Susan, Joey, and Ellen; and a brother, Bill Malloy, Boscobel.
