Former area resident Merry Van Der Hart (née Gillaspie), and two of her children (Esther, 9 months old (pictured above, with Merry), and Timothy (also above, in her womb)) passed suddenly into eternity on Friday, February 17, 2023, as a result of a one-car auto accident. Two of her sons (John, 4 years of age on 3/4/2023, and Daniel, 2) survived the accident but were injured and are recovering now. The funeral and burial for Merry, Esther, and Timothy was on February 25 2023, in Herman, Nebraska.
