Patrick “Pat” Kemnitzer, 66, of Platteville, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Finley Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where chapel military rites will be accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42.  Monsignor Charles Schluter will officiate.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville.  Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, or from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.  Memorials may be made to the Patrick “Pat” Kemnitzer Memorial Fund.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
