Richard Joseph “Rich” Lange, 61, passed away on Nov. 28 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, after a year-and-a-half-long battle with cancer.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Rev. Faustino Ruiz and Deacon Bill Bussan will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville, with a luncheon to follow. Friends may call from 4–8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, where there will be a parish rosary at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church.
