Robert LaVerne Berg, age 89 of Blanchardville died on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe. He was born on Feb. 13, 1926 at home in Drammen Valley near Daleyville to Henry Mikkel & Effie Margaret (Retrum) Berg. 

A memorial visitation for Robert Berg will be held at the New Hope Lutheran Church, formerly Blanchardville Lutheran Church, on Thursday evening, Nov. 12, 2015 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in Blanchardville.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Rev. Margo Martens, interim pastor of the church will officiate.
