Robert “Bob” Francis Dower, 88 of Gratiot, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at the Stockton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Stockton, Ill.
Robert was born Nov. 1, 1922, in Gratiot, the son of Maurice and Sophronia (Whalen) Dower. Robert married Rose Marie Fox on June 24, 1944, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gratiot. A mass of Christian burial will be Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gratiot. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Gratiot. Full obituary in the October 20, 2011 issue of the Republican Journal.

Mike McNair, age 82, a resident of Richland Center, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025.

At Mike’s request, there will be no funeral. He invites friends to celebrate his life by visiting his website and blog at mikemcnair.yolasite.com. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
