Robert D. Long, Sr., age 86 of Darlington, died on Memorial Day, May 27, 2013, at his home.  He was born on August 22, 1926 in Fayette Township to James & Katherine (McAloon) Long. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, with Fr. Randy Budnar officiating.  Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.  Full Military Honors will be accorded.  Visitation was from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Darlington, where a Rosary was prayed at 3:00 p.m.  Full obituary in the May 30, 2013 issue of the Republican Journal.
