Samuel ‘Sam’ Edward Spear

Samuel ‘Sam’ Edward Spear died at his home in Greenville, South Carolina, on July 23, 2019.  

He was born on October 6, 1986, son of David and Debra Spear, also of Greenville.

Although Sam never lived in Richland Center, he visited there almost every summer to see his grandparents, Dr. Jack and Rosie Spear, and Rev. George and Mavis Anderson. One of his favorite places was the Spudnut Shop. He was outgoing and gregarious, enjoying conversation with whomever he met. After the Braves, his favorite team was the Milwaukee Brewers, and he appreciated his many trips to County Stadium and Miller Park.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kate (Arlington, Virginia); a daughter, Emma René; and his former wife, Megan (both, Greenville, South Ccarolina).  David and Debbie Spear reside at 5 Wallingford Road, Greenville, SC  29609.

Phyllis Armbruster, 88, of Muscoda, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at her home.  A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 3 p.m. at the Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda, 710 N Wisconsin Ave, Muscoda.  Visitation was held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. The family suggests memorials in Phyllis’s name be directed to Agrace Hospice Care or St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Richland Center. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
