Tate Micheal Friederick was set free of the grip from Menkes Syndrome and rushed to the waiting arms of Jesus to receive his eternal reward on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at 4:13 p.m. He is now in heaven running, playing, talking up a storm and keeping his beloved Grandpa Don out of trouble. Even in death Tate has shared his beautiful blue eyes with someone who can now experience the world through an angel’s eyes.
A Mass of Christian burial was at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10 at Saint Andrew Church in Tennyson. Rev. Richard Leffler officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 3–7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9 at Saint Andrew Church in Tennyson and from 10–10:45 a.m. on Monday at the church. The Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque is serving the family.
