Virgil E. Bennett, Lancaster, entered his eternal reward on his 94th birthday on Nov. 15 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory in Lancaster. Reverend Thomas N. Reeder, Jr. of the Apostles Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Platteville officiated.  Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bloomington. Visitation was on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 1–4 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Virgil E.
