William A. Paulson, age 74 of Monroe, died on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at his home. He was born on Jan. 3, 1939 in Darlington, the son of Marvin and Winifred (Lee) Paulson.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at  Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Dr. and 18th Ave. in Monroe with Rev. David Busker officiating. Burial followed in Union Grove  Cemetery in Darlington. Visitation was Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Monroe Booster Club or Monroe Fire Department.
