INDOOR TRACK & FIELD:
Tri-State Large Schools Indoor Invitational (at UW–Platteville) Friday, March 16, 5 p.m.
The spring sports season will officially begin Friday night at the Tri-State Indoor Invitational at UW–Platteville. Platteville and Lancaster will be among the 16 teams that will take part in the annual event. Other competing teams include Antioch (Ill.), Arrowhead, Cambridge, Davenport West (Iowa), Dodgeville, Freeport (Ill.), Janesville Parker, Marshall, Milton, Mount Horeb, Oregon, River Valley, Viroqua and Waunakee. The Tri-State Large Schools meet is the first of four high school indoor events that UW–Platteville will hold this spring.
Tri-State Small Schools Indoor Invitational (at UW–Platteville), Saturday, March 17, 9 a.m.
The area’s small school take to the track and UW–Platteville’s Williams Fieldhouse Saturday morning for the Tri-State Small Schools Indoor Invitational. Participating schools include Albany, Belleville, Benton/Scales Mound/Shullsburg, Boscobel, Brodhead, Cashton, Darlington, Dodgeland, Durant (Ill.), East Valley (Ill.), Fennimore, Lena–Winslow, Lodi, Madison Country Day, Marshall, North Crawford, Northeast, Orfordville Parkview, Prairie du Chien, Richland Center, Southwestern and Westby.
University of Dubuque High School Girls Indoor Invitational, Friday, March 16, 4 p.m.
The Potosi girls track and field team opens the season Friday at the UD High School Girls Invitational.
University of Dubuque High School Boys Indoor Invitational, Saturday, March 17, 10:30 p.m.
The Potosi boys track and field team begins its season Saturday morning at the UD High School Boys Invitational.
Pioneer Indoor High School Meet (at UW–Platteville), Tuesday, March, 20, 5 p.m.
Platteville, Lancaster, Belleville, Benton, Darlington, Fennimore, Lancaster, Monroe, Mount Horeb, North Crawford, Pecatonica and Prairie du Chien will compete in Tuesday’s Pioneer Indoor Meet at UW–Platteville.
